I enjoyed a quiet thanksgiving at home, but I have fond memories of Thanksgiving at the cottage. The fire crackling, trying to read a book but my father is insisting that now is the time to rake up seemingly 100's of bags of leaves to take to the dump. Invariably the power would go out while the turkey was cooking. Sometimes for hours... I still can't figure that one out.
